A lasting gift of hope...

...how leaving money to Good News Family Care can transform lives

To allow us to make long-term plans, income from our supporters is vital. Legacy income will not only enable us to continue helping families in crisis but also to fund new projects such as Accommodation for Men, Work and Training projects, Dependency Rehabilitation etc.

Will you help us to ensure our work can continue into the future? By leaving a legacy to Good News Family Care you will be making a lasting gift of hope to many disadvantaged people, opening up a future they can really look forward to with confidence.

How to leave a legacy to Good News Family Care

If you would like to leave a legacy to Good News Family Care, either by writing a will for the first time or by amending your existing will, we strongly recommend that you use the services of a professional adviser. This is not as complex as it may sound and it is a reliable way of ensuring that your wishes are carried out.

If you are making a will for the first time - or amending an existing one, we suggest that you onsult a professional adviser who will be able to explain the different types of legacy you can leave. Before meeting with your adviser, here are some points to bear in mind:

If you are making a will for the first time:
If you are amending an existing will:
* Your adviser will be able to help you to determine the value of your estate (this includes, for example, the value of any property you own).

Many people find that their estate is worth more than they thought - meaning that a legacy can help more people than they expect.

* You will need to choose someone to be the executor (the person who ensures the will is carried out).

* It is important to take your existing will with you when you meet with your adviser.

* REMEMBER: you may need to amend your existing will if you have recently married, divorced, if there is a new family member, or if a family member has died.

If you decide to include Good News Family Care in your will, your adviser will need our registered charity number and address details shown below.
