Donating to GNFC

Good News Family Care aims to be as ‘self-financing’ as possible but there’s always a shortfall between operating costs and income – largely because nobody is ever turned away from our doors due to lack of funding. When God sends a family to us we know we can rely on Him to provide the means to support them. Since opening in 1995 He has inspired churches, companies, trusts, institutions and individuals to give us their support. Through this support, God has used Good News Family Care to share His love, serving over 2,700 people with many lives being transformed.

Our need for financial help is on-going, of course, your continued support helps to develop and maintain existing facilities – and to fund new projects. No matter how big or small, your contribution will help us continue to help more people in more ways with the added opportunity to share God’s love with vulnerable women and children and see more broken lives made new. We equally need your prayers for our team and our residents, that God’s glory be seen and all things be made new in broken lives.

We would welcome your financial support, please feel free to contact us to discuss your options further. You can choose to:

The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed which is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches. Matthew 13:32

You could even leave a specific item of value

Some solicitors offer wills on a charitable basis during ‘Wills Week’ each Autumn. There are many reasons to make a will and there is plenty of help available. It is advised that you seek assistance from a solicitor if you wish to pursue this.

To include us in your will you need to give our name, Good News Family Care (Homes) Limited, charity number 1042386 and the address below to the person writing your will – this will formally identify us as a beneficiary.

Thank-you so much and God Bless you

Donating Goods

We welcome gifts of all the normal items used by a family, living in a house, this includes white goods, bedding, food, and furniture. We would, of course, ask that these are in a good state and electrical goods are in full working order.

Donations of this kind are not only useful in themselves, they release funds for use in other vital areas. Please check our Guide to Donating Goods before delivering.

One thing is certain: nothing is wasted – what we don’t use directly we pass on to needy families or sell to raise funds. If you would like to donate items to us, please do contact us beforehand, as accepting donations of large furniture for example, will depend on our ability to store it.
